Paper Collage

This artwork by local artist Melanie Clarke is a recent framing commission. The client wanted the frame to match his living room wall so bought in his own paint. Its shadow float mounted to show of the unlevel edges of the paper the smaller collage pieces are attached to. It’s finished with Art Glass antireflective glass to get the best viewing experience. Framed to level 2/conservation of the Fine Art Trade Guild Standards.

Wave Catcher

This ltd print “Wave Catcher” by Sharon Harvey Art has been framed with a hand painted turned inlay grey mount, deep grained white frame and antireflective glass. The inlay mount was carefully painted to match the colours of the print to give the illusion of extension of the work. Its not a technique I use often so really enjoyed dong it. Being a self confessed dog and animal lover this art piece really bought a smile to my face and the thought “so true" that’s what I'm like with my dog, she really is the boss”. “The Dogs Rule” a quirky reflection on how dogs have twisted us soft owners round their little paws. This gorgeous big hairy chappie is Hunter, and not only did I get to meet him I also got to frame him. A nice simple black frame with silver edge line and a grey mount really sets of the colours in the artwork. Doesn’t he look chuffed sitting in front of his portrait! Beautiful pencil drawing of pet dogs. The rust red mount and brown frame were chosen to suit the customers taste and home décor. A deep white edge on the mount opening draws the eye into the artwork.
